Pacejet

Basic Shipping Integration

One of the simplest shipping integration use-cases supported by the Pacejet API involves three transactions:

  • Send a shipment to Pacejet

  • Retrieve updates after the shipment has been rated and shipped with a carrier

  • Notify Pacejet of successful ERP update for the shipment

The POST method is used with the Shipments resource to transmit an order from your ERP or other application to Pacejet. After users rate & ship an order in Pacejet, the GET method is used with the ShipmentConfirms resource to read carrier data such as tracking numbers and cost for the recently shipped order. As a way of providing closed-loop visibility of integrated shipping transactions within Pacejet, the PUT method is then used with the ShipmentConfirms resource to mark a shipment as having been successfully updated in your ERP or other application.
