New Features
Automations: A New No-Code Rule Engine for Shipping Operations
🟪New Feature: Automations, a no-code, wizard-driven rule engine, empowers shipping teams to build intelligent, condition-based workflows for quoting, packing, labeling, and shipping—without IT support or custom development.
Examples of What You Can Do:
Exclude express shipping unless an order is explicitly marked as "Rush".
Apply rate shopping selectively based on Shipment Type, Customer, or Destination.
Autofill missing contact data such as phone numbers or emails for 3PL and drop-ship orders.
Standardize ship-from details automatically based on site or business unit.
Map custom ERP fields (e.g., Business Unit, Contact Name) to shipment data automatically.
Combine rules with existing Pacejet Rules Library logic to create more dynamic workflows.
Automations build on Pacejet’s strengths in multi-carrier flexibility, custom data workflows, and deep ERP integration. Designed for non-technical users, Automations allow shipping teams to reduce reliance on developers or support—just open the editor, set your conditions, and go live.
New Shipment Control Rule - Reject ERP Shipment Imports by Tag
🟪 New Feature: A new custom Shipment Rule, Reject ERP Shipment Imports by Tag, has been added to block ERP shipment imports when a specific tag (for example, InProcess) is present on a shipment.
This allows operations teams to protect in-progress work from being overwritten by automated ERP processes and gives finer control over when shipments can be updated from external systems.
When this rule is enabled:
Shipments containing the configured tag will be blocked from ERP import updates.
Users can safely stage or adjust shipments in Pacejet without risk of them being automatically overwritten.
Refer to Blocking Shipment Updates for Fulfillment Control and Options for Updates While Rating and Shipping is in Progress for additional information.
New and Updated Packing List and Label Templates
🟪 New Feature: Several new customer-specific and retail paperwork templates have been added, as well as layout refinements:
New consolidated shipment packing list template (Packing List Consolidated with Packages & Products) that displays Order or PO Numbers at the product level, improving traceability and receiving for multi-order shipments.
New GS1-compliant label template for Fisher Scientific® (GS1 Label 4x6 - Fisher Handling Unit) in the Retail Template library, including required GS1 barcodes and layout zones so users can generate compliant labels directly in Pacejet.
New Home Depot® Packing List template with a 2D barcode for returns (Home Depot - Returns (2D Barcode)) in the Retail Template library, aligned with Home Depot’s updated vendor guidelines while maintaining backward compatibility with the existing format.
New JCPenney®-branded packing slip retail template (JC Penny Packing List 8.5x11) available via Self-Service Shipping Paperwork, built to meet JCPenney drop-ship vendor compliance guidelines.
These templates expand the library of out of the box paperwork options and reduce the need for custom development for common retailer requirements.
Enhancements
Enhanced access to Help, Documentation, and Ideas
🟪 Enhancement: The Pacejet Help tab now provides more direct access to supporting resources:
A direct link to the Aha! Knowledgebase, giving users quick access to up-to-date documentation and how-to guides without leaving the application.
A new Product Ideas link to the Aha! Ideas portal so users can easily submit and track product feedback.
The Pacejet service status page is accessible directly from the Help tab within the application and from pacejet.com, improving visibility into real-time service updates and carrier statuses.
Self-Service Automations and Paperwork Improvements
🟪 Enhancements: Several improvements build on self-service capabilities that were introduced in prior releases:
The Self-Service Automations Engine for shipping rules and workflow control has been enhanced to support a more flexible configuration of complex rule sets.
The Self-Service Shipping Paperwork Editor now includes border control options, allowing users to insert and customize borders around elements on packing lists and labels for more professional layouts.
The Packing List 4x6 template has been updated so the header appears only on the first page, improving readability and reducing redundant content on small-format prints.
The Home Depot Packing List template has been standardized to align with other retail packing list templates, improving consistency in layout and data mapping across retailers.

🟩 Resolved Issue: Corrected an issue where shipments with a Return tag could stall on the Ship Confirmation page with a spinning icon and no return created. You can now process the shipment normally, and the return is created and shown on the Ship Confirmation page as expected. (1367978)
🟩 Resolved Issue: Corrected an issue where a future Ship Date you entered on the Rate & Ship page was lost after rating and not sent to carriers. Your selected Ship Date now stays in place through the rating step and is used correctly when getting rates. (1381206)
