Overview

Clients have different facilities, and when looking at the Workbench, the default view is a shared space for all facilities. Some clients prefer that each facility just see only its own shipments and not all shipments.

This article includes the following information:

• Setting Up Workbench Views per Facility

• Adding the Facility Saved Search to the Favorites Menu

• Adding the Facility Saved Search as a Bookmark in Your Browser (Recommended)

Setting Up Workbench Views per Facility

1. Gather a list of your facilities.

   1. From the main menu, click Lists, and then click Facility.

   2. Note your Facility IDs.

2. From the main menu, click Transactions, Workbench, and then click Add/Edit Custom Search (top of screen).
   

3. In the Search Field drop-down, select Facility.

4. Enter a facility from the list of facilities created in step 1, sub-step 2.

5. Click Save.

6. In the Add/Update Search dialog, provide a name for the search.
   Example: Facility 1.

7. Optionally, click the Set As Default Search checkbox.

8. Click Save.
   The Workbench page saves this as the current saved search for the Workbench.
   

9. Repeat steps 2-8 for all other facilities for which you plan to set up a view.
   You can now toggle between them with the Search dropdown.

Pressing the Clear button will defer you back to the global view with all facilities showing.

Adding the Facility Saved Search to the Favorites Menu

Within Pacejet you can create a saved Favorite which acts like a Bookmark to your saved search.
After you have followed the steps above to set up the Workbench views, follow the steps below to add the saved search in the Favorites menu.

1. Navigate to your saved search (the saved search you created in steps above).

2. From the main menu, click Favorites, and then click +Add Link
   The url for the page will be greyed out.

3. For the Page Name, Enter a name for this favorite.

4. Optionally, you can select to have the page open in a new window.

5. Click Save.

6. Repeat steps 1-5 for each saved search you plan to set up as a favorite.
   This is now accessible from the Favorites menu:

   
   

Adding the Facility Saved Search as a Bookmark in Your Browser (Recommended)

After you navigate to the saved search, within the browser you can bookmark the saved search.

Every browser is a little bit different so you may need to discuss with your IT dept regarding which one your team is using. The saved search within Pacejet is a custom URL so it can be bookmarked per your browser for a one-click option.
