Enhancements

🟪 Full Address Sent in Rating Requests
BlueGrace rating requests now include address line 1 and address line 2 for the origin and destination, matching what shipping already sends. BlueGrace can then identify location-based shipment services (accessorials), such as liftgate, at the time of the quote. Quoted rates now better match what the carrier bills. (1533786)

Things to Watch During Implementation

⬛ Expect Fewer Services and Higher Rates on Some Lanes: When an address is a retail or limited-access location, BlueGrace adds Lift Gate at Pick-up or Lift Gate at Delivery to the rate, so the quote now includes liftgate charges that were previously billed after pickup. Guaranteed services are not returned for these shipments, because carriers do not guarantee liftgate service.

⬛ Address Line 1 Is Required to Ship: A shipment without address line 1 still rates but fails when shipped, with the error "The Address1 field is required." Confirm that Origin and Destination addresses include a street line before shipping.
