Installing and Configuring Pacejet Freight Quotes for SuiteCommerce

Overview

This article provides the steps for installing and configuring Pacejet Freight Quotes in NetSuite and Pacejet for SuiteCommerce (SCA).

Pacejet Freight Quotes has Backwards compatible with the following versions of SuiteCommerce

  • SuiteCommerce

  • SuiteCommerce Advanced - Aconcagua

  • SuiteCommerce Advanced - 2018.1

  • SuiteCommerce Advanced - 2018.2

  • SuiteCommerce Advanced - 2019.1


Installing Pacejet Freight Quotes in NetSuite

  1. From the main menu, hover your mouse over Customization, click SuiteBundler, and then click Search & Install Bundles.

  2. In the KEYWORDS field, type "281970".

  3. Click the Pacejet Freight Quotes for SuiteCommerce link.

  4. Install the bundle.

  5. Continue with the Activating the Pacejet Freight Quotes Extension in NetSuite (below) steps.

Activating the Pacejet Freight Quotes Extension in NetSuite

  1. From the main menu, hover your mouse over Setup, hover over SuiteCommerce, and then click Extension Manager.
    The Extension Manager lists all current activations associated with your SuiteCommerce site (theme or extensions activated on a domain).

  2. Click the Extensions tab.

  3. Select the new Pacejet Freight Quotes Extension.

  4. Select the website and domain that you plan to use.

  5. Click the checkbox for Pacejet Freight Quotes.

  6. Click Activate.

  7. Wait until the activation is complete.

Configuring the Pacejet Freight Quotes Extension in NetSuite

  1. From the main menu, hover your mouse over Commerce, hover over Website, and then click Configuration.

  2. Select the website and domain you used in the Activating the Pacejet Freight Quotes Extension in NetSuite steps.

  3. Click Configure.

  4. Click the Integrations tab, and then click Pacejet Configuration.

  5. For the Subsidiary field, enter your subsidiary ID. If you are not using subsidiaries, leave the value set to -1.
    You can only rate for one subsidiary.

  6. In the API URL field, enter the Pacejet API URL.

  7. Click the checkbox for Use Location. (Use the Facility menu in Pacejet for the LOCATION SITE and LOCATION CODE
    LOCATION TYPE will always be Facility.
    This sends information that tells Pacejet which account to use. (LOCATION TYPE, LOCATION SITE, and LOCATION CODE. )

  8. Refer to the Configuration Fields table below to populate the remaining fields.

  9. Click Save.

  10. Continue with the Mapping the Pacejet Field in NetSuite steps.

Mapping the Pacejet Field in NetSuite

  1. Click the Advanced tab, and then click the Custom Fields sub-tab.

  2. In the Field ID column, in the open text box, enter "custbody_tt_pj_shipping_cost".

  3. Click Add.

  4. Continue with the Configuring the Website and Adding Field Sets steps.

Configuring the Website and Adding Field Sets

  1. From the main menu, hover over Commerce, hover over Websites, and then click Website List.

  2. On the row for your website, click Edit.

  3. Click SCRIPTABLE CART AND CHECKOUT to check the box.

  4. Ensure that ENABLE SHIPPING ESTIMATOR IN CART is unchecked.

  5. Click the Field Sets tab.

  6. In the Order section, on the bottom row of the Order section, click the Set icon (set_button.png )to open the Field Set screen.

  7. On the Field Set screen, in the Select field, start to type the fields listed below (one at a time).

    • Item Height (Custom)

    • Item Length (Custom)

    • Item Width (Custom)

    • Commodity Name (Custom)

    • Weight

  8. Select the field.

  9. Click Add.

  10. Repeat steps 7-9 until all five fields have been added.

  11. Click Submit.

  12. Click OK.

  13. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click Save.

  14. Continue with the Configuring Suite Commerce in Pacejet steps (below).

Configuring Suite Commerce in Pacejet

A Pacejet administrator must perform the following steps.

  1. Configure the shipcodeXRefNumber on the Pacejet administration screen.
    This is used to map your shipping methods with the Pacejet shipping methods. Reach out to Pacejet support to complete this step.

  2. Populate the shipCodeXRef Number with the internal ID of your related shipping method.

After March 14, 2022, in Pacejet, click Help, and click About.

Prior to March 14, 2022, reach out to your Pacejet representative for the location.

UPS LICENSE ID

License ID to be used on Pacejet request. Reach out to your Pacejet representative for this information.

COMPANY NAME

Your company name

ADDRESS 1, CITY, STATE OR PROVINCECODE, COUNTRY CODE, CONTACT NAME, EMAIL, PHONE

Address origin for your packages.

Note that State/Province and Country codes should be two digits. (ex. CA, US)

SHIP MODE

Parameter used on the API call. Contact your Pacejet representative to determine this value.

FREIGHT PRICING

Field to use as the shipping cost on the front end, you can choose between consigneeFreight and listFreight

SHOW LTL SHIPPING ON ORDERS OVER

Populate with the minimum weight to start showing LTL ship methods in the checkout.
