Installing and Configuring the ExpressCube Installation File

Before you Begin

Before you begin installing the Pacejet ExpressCubeTM, you will need your API license key. This information is found in the Pacejet main menu by clicking Help and then clicking About.

The Pacejet ExpressCube Installation file can be found at the bottom of this page.


Install the ExpressCube Installation (.msi) File

Follow the steps below to install the ExpressCube .msi file.

  1. Download the PacejetExpressCubeInstall file (linked below).

  2. When the download completes, navigate to the download location and double-click PacejetExpressCubeInstall.msi to start the installation.
    This file has a version number at the end of the file name.

  3. Do one of the following:

    • If your browser opens a Windows protected your PC screen, click More info, and then click Run anyway.
      This opens the Pacejet Express Cube Setup Wizard.

    • If your browser opened the Pacejet Express Cube Setup Wizard, continue to step 4.

  4. Click Next.

  5. In the Destination Folder wizard panel, click Next.
    We recommend that you do NOT change the defaulf destination folder.

  6. In the Pacejet Location Name wizard panel, do the following:

    • In the Location Name field, enter the Location Name.

    • In the Pacejet API License Key field, enter the PacejetAPI license key. (Refer to Before you Begin)

  7. Click Next.

  8. Click Install.

  9. Click Finish.

  10. Continue with Configure the ExpressCube Connector steps below.

Configure the ExpressCube Connector

  1. At the Pacejet ExpressCube Configuration and Testing screen, begin the configuration steps:

    1. Place a test item on your connected ExpessCube.

    2. Click Save.

    3. Click the Measure icon (Measure.png) to verify that the returned weight and dimensions (on the Configuration screen) match the weight and dimensions on the ExpressCube.

    4. Click the Start Express Cube Service button. ( Start_ExpressCube_Service.png )

    5. In the Scale System Name field, click the clipboard at the end of the field. (This will be used in the Adding a Pacejet ExpressCube to the Workstation to the Workstation steps listed below.)

Adding a Pacejet ExpressCube to the Workstation
