Pacejet provides support for NetSuite custom fields, which can be used to transmit values to the shipping process or setup and use fields to control how Pacejet operates. To transmit additional fields, custom or standard, configuration setup will need to be performed on the appropriate script deployment.
To perform the necessary setup work, the NetSuite field name is gathered first. This field is then inserted into the appropriate integration script. For core integration, the script deployment is labeled as: Pacejet REST Integration. If Speed Integration is used, then the specific transaction script deployment is altered. The script deployment name is listed as “Pacejet XX Integration, where XX is the name of the transaction: Estimate, Sales Order, or Item Fulfillment. At this point, the additional field is transmitted to Pacejet.
To make use of this field, a custom plug-in will need to be created.
The following example illustrates what settings are made to transmit the following custom fields: a custom item field “cust_item_bin” and a transaction field “cust_body_service_level”.
