SuiteScript 2.0: Pacejet Settings

Purpose of This Document:

THIS ARTICLE IS ONLY FOR CUSTOMERS USING THE BUNDLE "PACEJET SHIPPING FOR NETSUITE" THAT HAVE SUITESCRIPT 2.0 SCRIPTS ENABLED.
Most Pacejet customers are currently using Pacejet's SuiteScripts 1.0 scripts, and the information provided below does not apply to that environment.
If you are unsure, please contact your PaceJet Representative.

This document outlines and defines the global settings in Pacejet Shipping for NetSuite 2.0 Scripts. These settings help you define parameters specific to individual transactions. They also offer the ability to set parameters that apply to all transactions globally.

This document is meant to describe the function of the various settings but is not intended as a NetSuite or Pacejet implementation primary. Many of the topics discussed in this document require advanced knowledge of the NetSuite and Pacejet operational environments.

Prerequisites

This document is specifically for:

  • Pacejet customers that use NetSuite OneWorld and NetSuite standard

  • Pacejet Shipping for NetSuite bundle version 20.1 or higher with the version 2.0 scripts deployed

  • The above configuration has been tested and shown that transactions are successfully passed between Pacejet and NetSuite

You must be logged in to NetSuite with Administrator rights to edit these settings.

IMPORTANT! The settings on this page were configured during the initial Pacejet for NetSuite 2.0 Scripts implementation. Changing the values on this page can adversely affect your Pacejet to NetSuite integration. Please contact Pacejet support if you are uncertain of the impact of changes you are considering.

Description

1&2

NAME mceclip3.png

The name of the custom Pacejet Settings Profile that contains various settings used for integration between Pacejet and NetSuite.

When the ENABLED box is checked, this settings profile is active.

3

IGNORED SUBSIDIARIES
mceclip4.png

Selected Subsidiaries will not use Pacejet’s integration.

You can select multiple items in this list by pressing the Control (Ctrl) key as you click. To unselect a subsidiary in the list, press Control and click the subsidiary again.

4

SETTINGS RECORD TYPE
mceclip5.png

The Record Type selected from this list causes this settings profile to apply ONLY to the record type that is selected.

If you want the Settings profile to apply to ALL record types, make sure nothing is selected (selecting nothing is the most common configuration).

If needed you can copy the current profile by selecting Save and Copy from the Save drop-down menu.

Please note there must be at least ONE Pacejet Settings record that is blank so any non-transaction (Schedules, Map/Reduce, Webhooks) events can refer to for processing.

5

PACEJET PORTAL
mceclip7.png

DO NOT CHANGE THIS SETTING UNLESS INSTRUCTED BY Pacejet CUSTOMER SUPPORT. CHANGING THIS SETTING MAY BREAK THE CONNECTION BETWEEN Pacejet AND NetSuite.
Enter the Pacejet location name, here. You can find the location name in your Pacejet URL. See the example below: http://ship.pacejet.com/OrchardFarms
(Do not include http://ship.pacejet.com/... Just OrchardFarms.)

6

QUOTE TRANSACTION ON SAVE
mceclip8.png

When checked, quote information is transmitted to Pacejet immediately upon clicking Save.

When the quote information is fully communicated to Pacejet, NetSuite displays a notification that the quote is ready for use.

This allows for a quicker quoting experience while using Pacejet.

7

OPEN NEW WINDOW FOR PACEJET
mceclip9.png

When checked, any NetSuite operation that opens Pacejet (example, when quoting), Pacejet is opened in a new screen.

With most browsers, Pacejet will be opened in the same browser window, but in a new tab.

8

ENABLE AUTO STAGE
mceclip10.png

When checked, the Auto Stage checkbox is displayed in the Item Fulfillment screen of NetSuite.

9

AUTO STAGE DEFAULT SETTING
mceclip11.png

This setting controls the default state of the Auto Stage checkbox upon item fulfillment creation.

When checked, shipments flow into Pacejet without user interaction, to be processed at a later time.

10

DISABLE MAP REDUCE
mceclip12.png

When checked, Disable Map Reduce stops the automated importing of shipment and requires you to click a button to bring a shipment into Pacejet.

Do not change this setting unless instructed by Pacejet customer support.

Map Reduce Saves your Transactions in a queue and processes them in batches. This helps govern the number of communications with Pacejet and could also help save a little money.

11

CUSTOM FORM
mceclip13.png

Custom Forms are native to NetSuite and control the look of the form’s layout.

12

ENABLE DEBUGGING
mceclip14.png

When checked, this option can help with troubleshooting.

Due to system overhead this should be disabled by default.

Pacejet recommends contacting customer support before checking this box.
