This update prepares Pacejet for the new European Union import requirements with a Manufacturers Part Number field, EU Commercial Invoice templates, and EU paperwork print triggers. Product Data
🟨 New Feature: The Product screen/ Product List now includes a Manufacturers Part Number field on the Extended tab. Use it to store the manufacturer's own part identifier alongside your Product Number, one value per product. The field is optional, and existing products are unaffected until a value is entered. In this release, the field is maintained on the Product List and is not yet available through the Pacejet REST API. (1602600)
🟨 New Feature: Product Map automations can now fill three Product List fields at import: Description, Manufacturers Part Number, and UPC Code. Set it as the Target Field on a Map automation whose Type is Product, so the value no longer needs to be entered by hand. As with other Product List fields, each import replaces the existing value. Paperwork
🟨 New Feature: Two new templates, EU Commercial Invoice with Products Portrait and EU Commercial Invoice with Products Landscape, support the new EU import requirements. Each lists the description, merchant product number, manufacturer product ID, standardized product ID (UPC Code), HS code, country of origin, quantity, and value for every product. Both use the same header and footer as the existing Commercial Invoice with Products, which is unchanged. (1602959)
🟨 New Feature: Two new standard Paperwork Print Triggers, International EU and International Non-EU, print the right documents by destination. International EU applies when the Ship To Country is one of the 27 EU member states. International non-EU applies to all other destinations outside the US and Canada. Assign the EU Commercial Invoice to International EU so it prints automatically for EU shipments. Existing triggers and document assignments are unchanged. (1602957)

🟪 Enhancement: The Self-Service Shipping Editor now offers Manufacturers Part Number in the Product section of the Detail tab, below Customer Number. Add it to any template that includes products, such as Commercial Invoice with Products, Certificate of Origin with Products, Packing Lists, and Bills of Lading. If a product has no value, the field prints blank. (1602840)
Carriers
🟪 Enhancement: Pacejet now passes each item's Manufacturers Part Number to carrier connections to enable use in rate and ship requests. Existing integrations continue to work unchanged. To send the value to a carrier, the carrier integration must be upgraded to that carrier’s new API. (1605955, 1605959)
The value comes from the Product List and stays with each item through repacks and sub-containers. Items without a value are sent with an empty field.
