This article provides instructions for installing the Add Remote Shipment Tag for Hazardous rule. It is one of several setup steps required to process hazmat shipments in a remote shipping application.
A Remote Shipment tag (RemoteShipping) has been added that triggers sending the shipment to Remote Shipment software. Shipments are sent based on the Remote Shipping tag. Additionally, the FedEx-HazMat tag will also be passed to the connector to determine what configuration to use.
How to install the rule
Go to Setup > Shipment Rules.
On the Tools menu, click Add Installed Rule.
In the Rule Templates with Installed Rules list, search for Add Tag for FedEx HazMat Remote Shipments or Add Tag for UPS WorldShip Hazmat Remote Shipments and click Install.
On the Install Rule Template dialog box, click Install.
