Enhanced Fields in Customers

Pacejet provides enhanced fields in Customers, used to support freight quoting, shipping, and other processes. More details on these enhancements are below.

Enhanced Fields

  • Freight Account Override: A control to set a default freight account override for new Estimates and Sales Orders.

  • Freight Terms Override: A control to set a default Freight Term for new Estimates and Sales Orders.

  • Pacejet Third Party Accounts: Carrier accounts linked to this customer. This set of records allows you to record customer accounts and then automatically bill shipments to accounts during processing. Note that multiple, different carrier accounts can be recorded to allow rate shopping to be supported and/or allow customers to use multiple carriers and still manage third party billing.

  • Name: Id for this record.

  • Carrier: Carrier/Service for an account number. Only enter a record for one class of service for a carrier and the third-party billing information will be used for all service classes for that carrier.

  • Account Number: The carrier account number to charge during third-party billed shipping.

  • Billing Address: The billing address to reference with the carrier account.

  • Default Account: Indicator flag that this account should be treated as the default.

  • Ship To Address: The ship-to address which should trigger automated use of this account.

  • Ship From Override: A control field linked to locations to select an override for this order.

  • Ship Via Override: A carrier override setting used to manage customer preferences.
