Overview
Deferred Printing is helpful for when you want to print all the labels at a time of your choosing — instead of having them print immediately. This can help spare you the extra step of looking through a stack of printed documents to find the ones you want.
Printing Deferred Documents With the Scan to Print Page
When you're ready to print, follow the steps below:
From the Tools drop-down menu, click Scan to Print.
In the Search Criteria field, scan or enter the Delivery Order (DO) Number, Sales Order (SO) Number, or a custom field (if the custom field is configured with the Custom Quick Search Field shipping rule.)
Click Lookup (the magnifying glass).
Depending on Shipment tags, the documents may be immediately sent to the printer. REfer to: How to set up Deferred Documents Printing with the Scan to Print Page.-

A shortcut key, X, displays the Quick Print Search window.
From any screen, press x.
The system displays the Quick Print Search dialog box.Enter your DO Number, SO Number, or a custom field (if the custom field is configured with the Custom Quick Search Field shipping rule.)

Override Tags Available For More Flexibility for Deferred Printing
Pacejet also provides predefined tags so that you can override the default setting. If all Shipments were set to Immediate Printing as the default, a tag can be added to the shipment so that the shipment can be printed at a deferred time.
The reverse is also true. If Deferred Printing is set as the default, a tag can be added so that the paperwork prints immediately.
These tags can be added manually on the rate and ship page, or with Rules that automatically add Tags. You can read more about rules by clicking here.
