Overview

A load consists of three statuses:

• Open – Accepting new shipments

• Stage – Has not left the building but not accepting new shipments

• Closed – Not accepting new shipments as they have already been loaded

The following statuses may be reverted:

• Stage Revert – Switch status from Stage back to Open

• Close Revert – Switch status from Close back to Open

Basic Flow of Load Creation and Status Change

Load Creation

• Process an order. This will automatically create a new load.

• Verify that your new load is created under the Messages section under the Shipment Confirmation page with the following naming convention: ‘ZXXXXXXXXXX’.

• Navigate to Activities > Load

• Verify that the various load(s) are displayed

• To view the loads, click on the hyperlink of the load number

• Click on the ‘Contents’ button to reveal the Load Contents to verify that the load contains the Delivery Order(s) processed for that day.

• Click on 'Trace' to reveal a list of what has occurred on that load for the day.

• Stage Load will stop orders from being processed into that Load.

• Close Load will close the load and process it based on the carrier.

  • Some carriers will print documents

  • Some carriers will process a call to the carrier
