Self-Service Analytics—Dashboards and Widgets Overview

Pacejet includes user-accessible analytics on the home page (the screen displayed after logging into your Pacejet account or clicking the Pacejet logo on the menu bar). These self-serve analytics comprise dashboards and widgets that present key shipment analytics in various graphs and forms.

Dashboards

The dashboard is a full-screen display that shows various widgets. Four template dashboards are available that cannot be deleted or modified. In addition to these four templates, users can create a dashboard from scratch or clone an existing template. Users can also create additional dashboards to display any available set of widgets.

- At least one dashboard (template or user-created) will be viewable by all roles.
- The Shipments Past 7 Days is the default template.

Roles Assigned to Dashboards

The ability to view and edit items on dashboards is role-dependent.

Examples:

  • The shipper role does not see the "Warehouse Activity - Past 31 days" template because it is only viewable by the Administrator role.

  • Any user-created dashboards that do not include the role of the shipper are not visible by the shipper role.

Widgets

A widget combines the data source and all available parameters, such as date range, chart type, etc. Pacejet provides a library of available widgets, which can be configured to be displayed in various chart types, including bar charts, area/line charts, and pie charts, as well as data summaries.

The widget areas have a fixed width and either Auto (preselected) or Dynamic (user-selected) height. Users can place as many widgets as they choose in a specific widget area. Each widget assumes the same width as provided by the widget area.

Dashboard Layout Options

When creating or editing a dashboard, there are five layouts to choose from:
