Advanced Compliance Labels

Pacejet now offers Advanced Compliance Labels as an add-on service in conjunction with Bartender which is purchased from a third-party software vendor called Seagull Scientific. If a customer is using this feature, Pacejet creates the SSCC and sends it, along with the container data, to Bartender.

Bartender allows the customer to design the UCC label on their own. In addition, Pacejet writes back the SSCC into your ERP as part of the Pacejet update feed XML. This enhancement allows the EDI provider to leverage the Pacejet update feed to create the ASN.

If a Pacejet customer is using Advanced Compliance Labels, the ‘SSCC Company Prefix’ field under Application Settings in their Pacejet portal will include their GS1 number.

Expect data gaps that will have to be addressed as part of Advanced Compliance Labels implementations due to trading partners having varying field requirements on UCC labels. For example, a retailer may require that the Store # be printed on the label which requires an additional customization.
