Overview
Carrier Settings lets Pacejet administrators define carrier-specific defaults and special behaviors beyond the basic options configured during initial carrier setup. Use Carrier Settings when you need to store or control details such as label formats, rating behavior, reference field mappings, customs details, SCAN forms, and other settings that affect how a carrier is used in shipping workflows.
Learn more about it in the article: How to Use Carrier Settings.
USPS Endicia Carrier Settings Reference
The following settings come preconfigured with the USPS Endicia integration. Change them only when the shipper needs different behavior.
Tip: Use these values only when they match the shipper's Endicia account and business process. Test vs. production is selected by facility: a facility name containing Test uses the Endicia test environment.

Reference Fields
The ReferenceData setting maps Pacejet reference fields to Endicia fields. The fieldname is the Pacejet reference field, and the value is the Endicia field to fill. Place mappings under Shipment for shipment-level fields or Package for package-level fields.
<ReferenceData>
<Shipment>
<Reference fieldname="ReferenceID">USERFIELD1</Reference>
</Shipment>
<Package>
<Reference fieldname="PackageRef1">USERFIELD3</Reference>

</ReferenceData>Important: Mappings placed under ReferenceData/Shipping are not used by the USPS Endicia integration. Use Shipment or Package instead.
When These Settings Are Most Useful

LabelTemplate,UsePESRetail, orChangeInternationalToPNGwhen labels need a specific template or image type.Address problems: Use
BypassValidateAddresswhen Endicia address validation blocks labels for known-good addresses.International: Add the customs settings when the shipper files with an export license or certificate.
End of day: Use the SCAN form settings to control the form Pacejet generates at close-out.
This article reflects the USPS Endicia settings confirmed so far. Additional Endicia-specific carrier settings will be added here as they are verified.
