New Template
Shipper Letter of Instruction with Commodities and Packages
This template provides a standardized format for documenting the details of shipped goods, including commodity classifications and individual package information for international shipments.
Entries from the Commodity / International section are grouped by a D/F Commodity indicator and the HTS Code. The D/F Commodity indicator compares the Ship From Country to the Commodity Origin Country. D is used when the countries match, and F is used when they do not. All packages in the shipment are listed individually without any grouping.

New Shipment Rule — Remove Shipment Packages
Some ERP integrations pass shipment packages to Pacejet. In some cases, the ERP system requires default packaging information. When Pacejet is used for packing, this information is unnecessary but yet still required in the ERP system.
As a result, manual cleanup in Pacejet before packing was required by using the Unpack all products and remove all packages trash can icon in the Package Information section. A new shipment rule has been introduced to remove shipment packages. It provides users with more control over package management within shipments, allowing for streamlined shipping processes. Previously, users saw inaccurate default packages (packages created as a workaround to meet certain ERP system requirements, such as those found in Acumatica) in the Pacejet Package Information section. This new shipment rule provides users with more control over package management within shipments, allowing for streamlined shipping processes.
Now, when this new rule is enabled:
For shipments imported into the portal, any package data passed from the ERP or WMS system will now be removed automatically.
This allows users to utilize Pacejet's packing features without any need to manually delete unnecessary or inaccurate package information.
This rule is automatically applied to all shipments imported into the portal.
Enhancements
Freight Density Set Up Page Expanded Overview
The Freight Density set up page has been expanded to support up to 13 sub codes, in line with the 2025 National Motor Freight Classification changes. This update allows for more precise Freight Density classifications and improved shipping calculations. The Freight Density UI now supports sub codes 12 and 13, in addition to 01 to 11. The Rate Class for sub codes 12 and 13, as set in the Classification List, will be shown.
Freight Density Set Up Page Expanded Rollout
Existing customers with Freight Density enabled will be required to do the following:
Add entries into the Classification List for sub codes 12 and 13.
Update the density ranges on the Freight Density page.
During the rollout, the Freight Density rule will be disabled for all affected portals until setup for sub codes 01 to 13 is complete.

We corrected an issue in Scan and Pack Enterprise where the Handling Unit weight was not properly updated after weighing sub-containers. Now, when a sub-container is weighed, the system accurately updates the overall pallet weight to reflect the new measurement. |
MCS - 7907 |
We corrected an issue where the FacilityContactCompanyName was not being updated when saving facility information, which caused processing errors with some carriers. Now, the system automatically updates FacilityContactCompanyName with the FacilityAddressName during a save if it is missing. |
MCS - 7983 |
We corrected an issue that could occur when editing an existing UPS registration record; a user could unintentionally clear the account’s registration status. Now, the system preserves the UPS Registered Account information when users save changes. |
