Overview
Custom Data enables users to send additional data fields from an ERP system to Pacejet that are not included in the standard integration. In Finance and Operations (F&O), these are available at the Transaction level, Item (Product) level and Package level (if packing in F&O and sending packed containers to Pacejet).
Setting up Custom Data fields from F&O involves three main steps:
Identifying fields to be Added to Integration - Locate existing custom fields or create new custom fields in F&O that you plan to import into Pacejet.
Note: This article does not cover the creation of custom fields in F&O. Please consult your F&O administrator for assistance.Setting up the Pacejet Parameters in F&O - Configure the required settings in F&O using the Parameters page of the Pacejet Module.
Setting Up Custom Data Configuration in Pacejet - Define the Custom Data within Pacejet.
After these steps are completed, you can use the Custom Data in Shipment Rules, paperwork and other tools within Pacejet. (See the section below on Using Custom Data in Pacejet.)
Identifying Fields to be Added to Integration
You will need the F&O TableName and Field (Column) Name of the Custom Data field you plan to pass to Pacejet.
Setting Up the Pacejet Parameters in F&O
