How to Update the NetSuite 2.0 Bundle

Overview

Instructions for how to update Pacejet's NetSuite SuiteScript Bundle.

Steps

1. Identify the integration version

      • In Pacejet, on the Open Connector page, if the ERP Connector WS Update Method = API, then the customer is using the 2.0 integration.

2. Backup Script Settings

  • Screenshot the Pacejet Settings and the subtabs: API Settings, Import Settings, Update Settings, and Customizations.

3. Export Shipping Items List

  • For Shipping Items, go to Pacejet Tab - Configure Pacejet - Shipping Items

4. Backup the Saved Search settings

  • On the Import Settings tab, if the Custom Auto Import Saved Search field is populated, you can skip the backup.

  • Otherwise,

    • Go to the Global search and type in "se pacejet auto" and click edit from the popup to get to it.

If the customer's version is different, it will be overwritten and will need to be restored after the update. Copying it will assist with that.

5. Run the update bundle procedure in NetSuite

  • Go to Customizations - SuiteBundler - Search & Install Bundles within NetSuite.

  • To review the upcoming changes, click the Update icon and this will run a preview of what changes will occur.

    • If you see anything listed in RED, then stop and consult Tier 2 before continuing.

  • Proceed with the update.

    • Note, updating will appear to stall, wait a few minutes, and refresh the page.

  • After a refresh, the update will show up in the bundle list as complete with the new version.

6. After the Bundle Update is Complete

  • Review the screenshots of the settings, compare them to the scripts and fix any that were altered.

  • Review the screenshots of the Saved Search. compare to screenshots prior to the update and fix any that were altered.

  • Test the communication between NetSuite and Pacejet.

    • Test by running a freight quote on a Sales Order in NetSuite

      • If the shipment opens in PJ you have just verified that NetSuite can update Pacejet

The Process of updating the 2.0 bundle is completed.
