Why are Packages Showing up in the Global Search of NetSuite?

ISSUE

Customers state that tons of Pacejet Packet Information turn up in the global searches with NetSuite.

RESOLUTION

Send the macro called Global Search Issue, which has the below-listed instructions.

    • To remove the unnecessary results of Pacejet Package Item Info on Global Search, please follow the steps below:
      1. Navigate to Customization > List, Records, & Fields > Record Types
      2. Click Pacejet Package Item Info to go to the record page
      3. On the Main Line, find and mark Include in Global Search as checked
      4. Click save
      5. Go back to the record by clicking Pacejet Package Item Info again
      6. Uncheck the Include in Global Search checkbox
      7. Click

Please note that it will take 10 - 15 minutes before the change is active. Hopefully, this works for you! If not, you will need to open a ticket with NetSuite Support.
