Ship Confirmation Page - Usage and Settings

Overview

Pacejet provides queues or notifications to help users understand when three key types of automation have completed successfully during shipping. This information is most visibly displayed with green check-marks ship_confirm_checkmark.png on the shipment confirmation page.

Confirmation Page Notifications for Carrier Transactions, Print Job Submission, and ERP Update

When a shipment is processed in Pacejet, the system provides notifications for carrier transactions, print job submission, and ERP updates as follows:

  • Carrier Transaction - The Carrier Transaction notification tells users when a shipment has been successfully completed with carriers, including a tender or pickup request where supported.

  • Print Task -The Print Task indicator informs users when content such as labels, Bill of Lading, or packing lists have been submitted for transmission to printers.

  • ERP Update - The "ERP Update" transaction informs users when an ERP update transaction has been submitted to their connected ERP system to record the results of a shipment.

If processing errors or connectivity problems prevent a step from completing, a red checkmark is displayed, and users may be provided with an option to retry a failed processing step.

A: The retry function on this page invokes the older "Open Connector" update integration method only when the ERP Connector WS Update Method is set Push, Pull, and Deferred. Otherwise, the standard API-based retry method is triggered by these pages.
