Create a Shipment From a Load
Pacejet has the ability to create a shipment directly from a load. With this feature, all containers from all shipments inside of a load will be copied into a single shipment, thus saving shippers the effort of creating the shipment from scratch. This feature can be especially useful for cross-border international shipments.
Select Admin, Location Setup, Load Configuration.
Select the desired Load Configuration.
Click the Plus sign inside the desired event.
In this case, the shipment will be created when the load is closed.Select CreateShipmentFromLoad from the dropdown menu.
This shipment data does not write back to the ERP system.
How Creating Shipments from a Load Looks In Pacejet
Once you add CreateShipmentByLoad to the desired event, you will be able to see it work inside of Pacejet when you Trace a load. See the steps below.
From the Load screen (Activities, Load), select the desired Load number.
Select the button that matches the Event that you defined in the load Profile. In this case we'll select Close.
The Load Status Screen appears.Click Trace. In the list of events, you'll see that your shipment was created.
