Do not uninstall Pacejet Print Connector unless you plan to immediately install Pacejet Connector.
Before you begin
If you currently use the Label Connector, before uninstalling the Pacejet Print Connector, you need to save your BarTender BTW files and your BarTender Config XML file to a location outside the Pacejet PrintConnector folder. After installing Pacejet Connector, you will restore these files.
Step 1: Copy the BarTender .btw files to a location outside the PacejetPrintConnector folder (if needed)
Your .btw files are likely already stored outside the PacejetPrintConnector folder. Complete these steps to confirm that.
In Windows File Explorer, go to the Pacejet Tools > PacejetPrintConnector folder.
-
Does the folder or its child folders contain .btw files?
If yes, copy the folder to a location that is outside the PacejetPrintConnector folder and make note of this new location.
If no, go to Step 2.
Step 2: Copy the BarTenderConfig.xml file to a location outside the PacejetPrintConnector folder
In Windows File Explorer, go to Pacejet Tools > PacejetPrintConnector.
Locate the BarTenderConfig.xml file in the PacejetPrintConnector folder.
Copy the file and save it to a folder outside the PacejetPrintConnector folder and make note of its location.
