What Are User Fields?

User fields are fields that do not exist in Pacejet until you create them. They can help you meet important business needs like displaying more details about a shipment, improving search capability, and expanding functionality with rules and API scripts.

Where Do User Fields Appear?

Shipment Level Fields

Shipment-Level fields appear in the Shipment Details section of the Rate and Ship Page. Shipment Level fields can be renamed to meet your business needs.

On the Shipping Workbench, shipment level fields can be added to the search menu for locating shipments faster (see the example below).

Package Level Fields

Package level fields appear as columns in the Package Information of the Rate and Ship page. Like the Shipment-level fields, they can also be named to meet your business needs.

Item Level Fields

These will appear at the item level but are seldom used.
