Pacejet Shipping for NetSuite 26.1.4 Release Notes

Overview

The Pacejet Shipping for NetSuite 26.1.4 release modernizes and extends the ShipCentral integration with updated capabilities including automatic shipment staging, package dimension and weight passthrough, auto ship method support, and an update to NetSuite’s recommended integration mechanism. This release also resolves an issue where packing details were not consistently included in the Shipment for Ship Central workflows. Four new Knowledge Base articles accompany this release.

ShipCentral Integration

🟨 New Feature: Pacejet now accepts package dimensions from the ShipCentral integration in two ways: as explicit length, width, height, and unit of measure values, or as a Package ID that Pacejet resolves to its stored dimensions. Warehouse operators packing in ShipCentral do not need to re-enter box dimensions manually when dimensions are already captured during packing.

🟨 New Feature: Package weight captured in ShipCentral during the packing process is now passed directly to Pacejet through the integration. Operators do not need to manually enter package weight when it has already been recorded in ShipCentral.

🟨 New Feature: When packing is marked complete in NetSuite Ship Central, Pacejet now automatically stages the shipment for processing.

🟨 New Feature: The ShipCentral integration now supports shipping of a packed-together set of multiple item fulfillment. The first item fulfillment is considered the master, and updates are applied to each item fulfillment with cost/price only updated to the master Item fulfillment.

🟨 New Feature: The ShipCentral integration now supports an auto-ship method using a preset carrier and service, when this is set as a default in the custom transaction's fields area. When carrier and service information is provided from ShipCentral, Pacejet applies it automatically and processes the shipment without requiring the operator to manually select a ship method.

🟨 New Feature: The ShipCentral integration now provides a link to View Ship Central Shipment to view the shipment in Pacejet.

🟪 Enhancement: The ShipCentral–NetSuite integration has been updated to use NetSuite’s recommended integration mechanism, replacing the legacy file lock approach. This improves shipment processing speed and reliability and eliminates performance risks associated with the prior mechanism.

Bug Fixes

🟩 Resolved Issue: Packing details created during the NetSuite Item Fulfillment process are now consistently included in the Shipment transmitted to Pacejet. Previously, packing data from Ship Central workflows could be absent or incomplete in the shipment payload, requiring manual intervention to reconcile what was packed in NetSuite and what Pacejet received.
