Download and Upgrade the Pacejet Integration for Dynamics F&O

This article explains how to access, download, and upgrade the latest Descartes Pacejet integration package for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O).


Prerequisites

You need the following before you begin:

  • Access to the Clients First Business Solutions (CFBS) customer portal that you already use to manage Pacejet access license tokens.

  • Appropriate permissions in your Dynamics F&O environment to install or update the integration package.



Access the Clients First Portal

Use the Clients First portal you already use for license token management to access the latest integration package.

  1. Open your web browser and go to the Clients First Business Solutions portal URL.

  2. Sign in using the same account you use to manage your Pacejet access license tokens.

Other Pacejet knowledge base articles provide detailed instructions for signing in to the Clients First portal and managing your license tokens. Refer to those articles if you need additional guidance.


Find and Download the Latest Integration

After you sign in, locate and download the most recent Dynamics F&O integration package.

  1. From the portal home page, go to the section for Pacejet integrations or downloads.

  2. Locate the entry for the Pacejet integration for Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.

  3. Click the Download Packages button to download the integration package file for the latest version.

The downloaded package includes the integration installer and release notes for the new version.


Review the Release Notes

Before you install or upgrade, review the release notes that come with the package.

  • Open the release notes file Pacejet Build Revisions included with the download.

  • Review new features, fixes and any breaking changes or special upgrade considerations.

  • Share the release notes with your technical and operations teams as needed for planning and validation.




Upgrade Your Dynamics F&O Environment

Once you have downloaded the latest integration package and reviewed the release notes, follow your standard change management process to deploy the update in Dynamics F&O.
In most environments, this includes:

  • Coordinating a maintenance window for the upgrade.

  • Installing or importing the updated integration package into your test environment first.

  • Validating core Pacejet shipping and rating workflows.

  • Rolling out the update to production after successful testing.
