Self-Service Shipping Paperwork Overview
3G Pacejet Shipping has completely revamped the shipping paperwork experience and has made it entirely self-service. Self-Service Shipping Paperwork is 3G Pacejet Shipping's solution to give our customers more control, flexibility, and options than ever before. With this revolutionary solution, you can:
Administrate with Ease: Effortlessly enable templates with license controls
Edit Like a Pro: Tailor templates to suit your needs using our new and intuitive WYSIWYG Editor tool - no programming skills required. It’s as easy as using your favorite word processor!
Personalize with Images: Upload and integrate logos and signature images for a professional touch.
Automate with Triggers: Set conditional expressions to streamline your workflows.
Simplify Workflows: Define copies and printers to automate and simplify your shipping paperwork printing process.
Ship with Flexibility: Access two categories of templates. Shipping templates for everyday shipping needs or retail templates if you’re shipping to, or on behalf of, retail trading partners.
Each sub-menu (Administrator, Editor, Images, Triggers, and Workflow) includes an About section with instructional videos. The About section for the Paperwork Editor opens in a new browser ().
The Self-Service Shipping Paperwork user interface (UI) provides the necessary tools for users to make changes to existing shipping paperwork. It is not a full-fledged report writer and is not designed to support the creation of new paperwork.

Package Pieces
Expanded Shipment Details for Trading Partner—Additional EDI Field Updates and Informational Addresses
Package Pieces
A standard field for pieces is now included in the Package Information section of the Rate & Ship page. Pieces is calculated with all 3G Pacejet Shipping methods: Item Packing (Drag & Drop), Quick Ship, Scan & Pack (Essentials & Enterprise). The Pieces will reflect the total quantity of all products in the package. When Scan Pack Enterprise is used, the handling unit Pieces reflects the number of subcontainers on the handling unit.
As part of the Self-Service Shipping Paperwork, a new Bill of Lading (Straight Form) with Packages is included in the Shipping Templates, which includes Pieces.
In each packing method, re-packing the shipment recalculates the Pieces value and overwrites the previous Pieces field value.

Informational Address Updates
To improve the flexibility and accuracy of shipping documents, in Release 24.1, we made updates that allowed multiple address types. We added addresses that can be used when processing shipments (Ultimate Ship To, Freight Bill To, and Sold To).
Now, the API endpoints and the Bulk Import/Export feature have been updated to include Informational Addresses.
API Updates
These addresses can be sent to and received from your ERP via the Transactional Endpoints. When an import from an ERP includes an Informational Address with an existing address ID, the 3G Pacejet Shipping record (Lists > Informational Addresses) is updated with the new data, and all unshipped shipments containing this record are also updated, ensuring that shipments are always using the most current address information.
Bulk Import/Export Updates
Informational Addresses are now included in the Bulk Import/Export feature. Users can now map these fields to the corresponding fields in their data source during the import process. After the import process, these addresses are available in the relevant shipment reports, such as Shipment Summary, Standard Freight Data, and Lot Capture & Serial Number Export.
