Voiding or Deleting a Shipment in Pacejet

Overview

There are several ways to void a shipment in Pacejet.

This article provides the steps for voiding the shipment using three different methods:

  • Deleting Selected Orders on the Workbench

  • Voiding Selected Orders on the Shipping Workbench

  • Voiding Selected Orders on the Void Shipment

Deleting Selected Orders on the Workbench

The Workbench is new with the release of MCS 22.1. The Workbench is more streamlined and customizable than the Shipping Workbench. The traditional Shipment Workbench will also remain available but will be phased out at some point in the future.

You can delete directly from the Workbench if the shipment has not processed.

  1. From the Transactions drop-down menu, click Workbench.

  2. Use the Search For text box to find the transactions that you plan to delete from the Workbench.

  3. Click the checkbox for the rows that contain the orders you plan to remove.

  4. Click the Delete icon.

Voiding Selected Orders on the Shipping Workbench

Void directly from the Shipping Workbench if the shipment has not processed.

  1. From the Transactions drop-down menu, click Shipping Workbench.

  2. Use the Search For text box to find the transactions that you plan to delete from the Shipping Workbench.

  3. Click the checkbox for the rows that contain the orders you plan to remove.

  4. Click the Void icon.

Voiding Selected Orders on the Void Shipment Page

Another option to void shipment orders is using the Void Shipment screen and manually enter the Tracking Number or Delivery Order.

From the Void Shipment screen you can void a parcel shipment or an LTL.

  • Voiding a parcel shipment voids the shipment with the carrier, as well as Pacejet and your ERP.

  • Voiding a LTL voids the Delivery Order only, which will void the shipment in Pacejet and your ERP only. To void with a carrier, you will need to contact the carrier directly.

  1. From the Transactions drop-down menu, click Void Shipment.

  2. Do one of the following:

      • Voiding a Parcel shipment: click the Void Shipment icon. void_shipment_icon.png
        If you receive an error, refer to the screen below for voiding a LTL shipment.

      • Voiding a LTL shipment: Click the Void Delivery Order Only icon void_delivery_order_only.png.
