Overview
The key response header information used with the Pacejet API includes values of Requests-Remaining, Request-Reset-Wait, Requests-Reset, and Latest-Version. The Requests-Remaining returns an integer value of how many requests are available for use until the next governance window, use this information to prevent your application from “overrunning” governance controls with multiple requests or retries. The Request-Reset-Wait displays how many seconds are left before governance is reached. The Requests-Reset provides a date and time when the next governance window will provide additional requests. The Latest-Version will provide version identifier (e.g. 1.0) which can be used to detect version changes in future iterations of the Pacejet API (i.e. save the version ID as an application setting with your integration so you can detect when a new API version has been published).
Examples
See examples of response header detail using the API | Samples page for an endpoint such as ConfirmList or using the developer tools network/headers area in Google Chrome.
