Overview

The Descartes Pacejet XPO Logistics 26.1 release delivers important corrections as part of overall improvements to use carrier APIs. This update resolves two issues in the XPO connector involving document type formatting and billing account handling.

Bug Fixes

🟩 Resolved Issue: Corrected Document Type Formatting
The connector now sends the document type as "PDF" in uppercase, as required by the XPO API. This resolves label request rejections that occurred when the value was sent in lowercase.

🟩 Resolved Issue: Corrected Billing Account Handling
Billing account data is now included in shipment requests only when Freight Terms are set to Collect or Third Party. It is excluded for Prepaid and other terms, preventing incorrect billing setups on XPO shipments. User should note that XPO supports the use of only Prepaid and Collect and will not return rates or allow shipments if other terms are used. The following error will be generated in the shipment trace if incorrect freight terms are used.
