Enhancements
The new enhancements for release 25.7 include the following:
Alternate Return Informational Address
You can now set a different return address for each individual shipment when using UPS or FedEx. Previously, you could only assign one return address per carrier account, which was used on every shipment. This limitation reduced flexibility for shippers managing multiple brands or fulfilling orders on behalf of partners who require specific return addresses—such as major retailers.
With this enhancement, you can now assign an Alternate Return Address on a per-shipment basis. This new option appears as a fourth type of Informational Address on the Informational Address page and can also be used in the Rate & Ship page and through the Bulk Import/Export interface. This enhancement supports more complex drop shipping and brand-specific return routing requirements. For example, shipping on behalf of a retailer may require using their returns warehouse as the Ship From on the label.
Alternate Return Address ensures better alignment with carrier label requirements, especially in blind drop-ship scenarios. It allows you to meet specific return address requirements from different trading partners without impacting how rates are calculated or managed in your system.
