The picking process moves inventory to a Staging bin. This process also creates a record on the item fulfillment inventory detail record picking information.

All of the values from the line-level-detail pick carton ID’s are together in a custom field, comma-separated. This custom field stores each inventory detail-level pick carton ID values into that field on the line level of the item fulfillment.

Example: After the item fulfillment is saved in a Picked Status, the fields contain PickCart1 and PickCart2 (see below) and the data would be stored in a line-level field that Pacejet will then import.

Pacejet

The packer or shipper now has the ability to scan one of the Pick Carton ID values (using the keyboard shortcuts, such as Z or Q keys) in Pacejet to be able to locate the carton ID that imported from NetSuite, and then pack up and ship the transaction in Pacejet.

Pacejet now has a shipment rule that takes the data being passed in and stores that as custom data.

Example: If the item fulfillment has 15 unique pick carton IDs , then the data would be recorded in Pacejet as 15 separate entries. If the item fulfillment has 15 unique pick carton IDs , then the data would be recorded in Pacejet as 15 separate entries.

The Add Custom Quick Search rule must be installed and Custom Data must be configured with PickCarton as a shipment-level field.
